Clarence Valley Council’s Economic Development team requested my services to raise the profile of Grafton’s Jacaranda season, in order to bring visitors to the area and reach out to the Asian tourist market.
I was engaged to conceptualise, plan and style a photographic and film shoot to demonstrate the local area’s passion for its famous trees.
Working with photographer and filmmaker Trevor Worden, we created a series of images and film footage to be shared with national and international markets.
The final project showcases Grafton’s famous purple blooms in many different scenarios including scenes that feature former Jacaranda Queens, lifestyle photos of Asian models, and children enjoying the traditions of the festival.
