History of Weddings in the Valley examines bridal gowns and wedding items from museums and private collections of the Clarence Valley. Curated to tell the stories of who wore the beautiful dresses, how their weddings have been celebrated and the secret love story each marriage can tell. Objects and photographs look into the personal memories, moments in time and softly spoken words people hold close to their hearts when they think of weddings.
This exhibition is the second in the series “History of the Valley” and follows on from the History of Jewellery in the Valley 2016.
